SKS OpenPGP Keyserver |
|
This public keyserver is a service provided by the Undergraduate Computer Science Cluster (UGCS) at the California Institute of Technology. You may also be interested in the timestamp service. This keyserver can also be accessed at pgp.ugcs.caltech.edu, pgp.ugcs.net, and pgp.ugcs.org. As a free public service, the UGCS OpenPGP Keyserver is provided with absolutely no warranty or guarantee of any kind. If you write a filesystem that stores media on PGP public keys and back up your hard drive to our server, we will hunt you down and you will be banned from the internet.
SKS is a new OpenPGP keyserver. The main
innovation of SKS is that it includes a highly-efficient reconciliation
algorithm for keeping the keyservers synchronized. You can
learn more about SKS at the Savannah page,
here.
Should you have any issues or concerns, or wish to synchronize with us (sks gossip protocol or pks email sync) please email sysadmins@ugcs.caltech.edu.
You're welcome to download a keydump from our servers at http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~pgp/backups/.
Extract a keyYou can extract a key by typing in some words that appear in the userid of the key you're looking for, or by typing in the keyid in hex format ("0x...")
